I tried a baby taylor today and really liked the sound, it was very surprising how sweet it sounded, the mahogany one. They don't have any 'boom' because of the size, it'd be a great recording guitar for that reason.

I am considering ripping out the carpet in my studio... is this a good idea? more importantly will it improve the sound?
