The initial listen I’d say the Vocals are way to crowded and stacked - and they aren’t in time at places - the guitars are better - but there is some kind phase thing happening - better job with the Drums!

A couple of things - do you have the pad engaged on the AT2035 or the UMC404HD or both? Can you post a recording with nothing but the sound of the mic?

In the Video that you posted that isn’t guitar resonance - that is mic resonance and string harmonics - and if you want to cut that out - sweep a parametric cranked up and narrow till you hear it - then you could use a compressor and side chain a EQ that cuts that frequency(s) - I don’t know if...

There is masking going on with what I think you are calling ‘muddiness’ - also I think you should do the vocals about 100 times more and then cut a final one - they sound very cautious.

I think the drums are too quiet. The Vocals are fine - maybe that’s the pushed vocal already? Interesting vibe - can’t pinpoint the era it sounds like but it’s definitely new retro to me - is that a Mutron on the guitar?
