Nope, they're for accoustic kits. Electronic ones already have them built into the pads.

I'm guessing the reason they're straight up and down is because they're mono, so no left-right movement.

I'd probably say EQ then compress, and lastly add reverb. Only because you probably don't want to compress the reverb tails. Unless you do. In that case ignore this! :)

Yep, I've got it and it's a life saver. Sometimes I get bands to do demos or something and the drummer's kit just sucks big time. Drumagog saves crappy sounds drums and makes everything sound alot better.
