Yep, I have used a civic as my gig car for a while and fits a 5 piece no bother.. Mitsubishi colt does this now instead, seeing as my civic was ribbed and crashed! :(
My only advice with the clicks is to record the different sections seperately i.e. no pedal changes, then chop up the tracks and make into 1 track with no clicks/pedal changes.

nice work, only thing I'd add is light hats or tambourine (16ths) for the verse part. or maybe hats for the verse amd tamb 16ths on the chorus instead..

I'd say get a more fitting kick drum to match the kit, bring the kit up a bit to mix with that. Snare needs more definition too and need to come up. toms down a bit and you'll be set. love the guitar sound!
I use a firewire 1814 on an intel macbook pro, running tiger 10.4.8 and pro tools m-powered and have had no issues whatsoever wit this. Installed the driver software, installed protools and away I went!!
