    send effects Tascam dp24

I think of it as "Pre" = before fader, effect gets recorded on the track. "Post" = after fader, doesn't get recorded on the track, but is heard post fader listen. When you hit "save" the DP saves all effect settings, so next time you're working on the song, you're where you left it. Kinda like a...

The factory presets in the 11R just scratch the surface of what it can do. Check out the downloadable custom rigs on the user's group forum, some pretty wild sounds there. Eleven Rack Users Group | Latest Presets There's also a stand alone editor, that unlocks many cool tone changing options...

    Your Opinion On Amp Sims

Picked up the Eleven rack about a year ago and it's getting more recording time now than my tube amps. There's some impressive "rigs" for the 11R out there, good stuff for not a lot of cash investment and the sound quality is impressive too.

How To Get Samples On MPC2000xl ?

I know its a late reply, but uploading samples to the 2000XL is as easy as connecting your computer's headphone out to the MPC's inputs. Works fine with mono WAV and any other audio source. :guitar:

    The New Tone Thread

Its all good, I figured I'd give you a heads up on the stuff in the 11R, still love that Marshall tone, but that Soldano stuff got a bunch gain too. Working on a CD and using a mix of tubes & sim amps for some layers with it all, pretty fun stuff. I'm just messing with ya Greg, checked out your...

Yes, both Home Depot & Lowes will usually cut any wood you buy from them. Just make sure the guy cutting understands exactly what you're building with it. Hope it helps.

i need help building a workstation desk? :( PLEASE HELP ME T_T

Home Depot sells some nice ball bearing drawer slides with 100lbs+ ratings that are great to make a computer keyboard slide out shelf unit instead of just a storage box. Lowes also has good stuff too. I built my own desk, its a little more different design than the desk you've shown...

    DP 24 Applying Reverb

Don't know if you haven't tried already, but you need to open the "effects return" setting to max value in the "mixer" section. Then go to the "effects" window and make sure its "on" if you're using the onboard reverbs. You can also bypass the factory installed effects by turning them off and...

Is the DP-24 being discontinued or replaced?

Thanks for the tip, checked out their website, but it looks like they're limited to the 2488 units right now. It would be cool if they did something for the DP24/32's too. As a song writer, the DP24's are great production tools. In another life I was a studio engineer working in rooms with...
