Hey all. Found these cassette duplicators while cleaning out a friends condo. Don't know if they work but if any of you want them you can have them for shipping. They're pretty heavy. If your near Cleveland you can come get them.
That is a good price for the 81's . Want to trade anything? I've got a 22-2 and some other stuff sitting around. If I still lived in Portsmouth you could have my Akai mg 1212!
Room is 12 x 12, treated with bass traps and high density fiberglass panels. I've done lots of mixes on them, single guitar, pop, alt country, rockabilly, classical strings and they all sounded great. The music is tuned really low (a sharp).
hey all. Taking my first stab at recording and mixing extreme metal. All sounds good in the studio with my ns10s but when I bring the mix to another player (car, home) it is WAY too bass heavy (low mids too high as well). Wondering if you have any other monitor suggestions. I'm all analog if...
Frequency clash would be more of an eq thing and crosstalk would depend a lot on your deck. lower frequencies may bleed more so I put bass on one of the outside tracks just in case. Track order doesn't matter too much. I'm thinking you're going to want two drum tracks though to make it stereo...
Here's a pic. I'm pretty sure if I packed it right it would be slightly over 100lbs. I was in the music retail biz when these came out. They were $9,995. Sold one to Aerosmith to do demos.
I've got a 100% working, super clean MG1212 12 track for sale. It includes 15 tapes, factory stand and a vinyl cover. $400 plus shipping (sucker is BIG).
Yeah. Its pretty low for guitars but it actually sounds good. Extra thick strings though. New battery in bass. Not sure about the strings. Just fyi, I'm all analog (Otari 16 track) so I don't have the eq flexibility of a program.
