    788 question

shit man......how about that. I've had this box for almost 4 years, and just got around to finding out (with your great help) about 5/6 unlink. :D My own music very seldom goes beyond 3-4 tracks, and if they did, I'd be bouncing to 7/8, and using 1-4 again. Hardly ever used 5/6. When I do a...

    788 question

hey man, thanks for the reply.............I may have sumpin wrong. I don't think the pair (5, and 6) will "unlink". I tried a single source from each of A thru D, into 5 and 6 both, and when I try 6 it still works thru 5. Does that make since? hmmmmmmmmmmmm......I've only recently gotten to...

I use 4 LDC hanging in a homemade contraption from the ceiling. the mics are around 3-4 foot above the group. we just get in a...

Where Can I Play In CT?

that's what we try SO hard to tell folks here. jamfest is NOT all about the music. It's the fellowship, the friendship, that we care so much about. Come and make some new friends. "jamming" is only a result of this. Put it on the calendar for next year since you're already so close to the...

Need suggestions on all Tube practice amp...

just a thought. Thatupstateguy, Mr Steve Gibbs brought his little homemade "amp" to jamfest. It's just an amp, no speaker, all tube, and he runs it thru a cabinet. I think I remember him saying depending on the power tube, he was getting from 6 to 12 watts. A BIG KICK ASS little amp. He would...

    Which Yamaha acoustic to buy?

I'll stay away from this comparison. :D :D :D One of my picking pals dabbles in used guitars, and he has the best luck with the Yammie acoustics. They are plentiful to find used, and are real easy to resell, because of their sound for the bucks. He is more of a vintage dealer, and likes the...
