Hi there,
did anybody of you fellows try the just released SE2200A II (the multi pattern one)?
I am curious to find out if the added multi pattern feature is worth the extra price.
In the meantime I found a couple of SE2200A's (the n/c version without flight case) for a reasonable price at a...
For what it may be worth...
I just received a note from the italian importer of the sE Electronics products.
The well estimated SE2200A LDC mike ran out of produtcion and is now substituted by the newly released multipattern SE2200 II.
According to the introductory offer, the SE2200A II will...
Here is what I found on the Internet reading a user review of a CAD M179 mike (the reviews was uploaded in 2007):
"Contrary to the product description, all CAD mikes are made in China now, and receive only batch-level inspection in the U.S. (according to CAD Sales)"
Thank you all for your suggestions.

Have a great time with all you mics! :)

I see that this mike isn's as quiet as others (Rode NT1-A is know for its 5 dB noise level), so I was wondering if some tweak on this mike could...
I second this. I have a couple of them: beside being damn good looking with their grey mat finish, they are sturdy and heavy enough to stay in place even with big mikes.
Hi, I didn't write the budget, but cited some microphones one should deduct the budget from.
I'm not willing to pay hundreds of euros because of the very occasional use. According to your suggestion, then, Rode should be the way, right?
Thank you,
Giovanni
Thank for you interest.
My voice is baritone/bass, I happen to sing as lead vocal for myself (folk music).
My group is a small choir of some 15 people. We sing either a capella or with some acoustic instruments (celtic harp, flutes, guitar, some percussions). I usually record them with a couple...
