Dig the tune! Funk & Soul are my main genres. The drums are definitely too far back, imo. The horns and organ could be punchier too. To my ears, this mix is too much guitar and bass and not enough everything else.

Anything can work... it just depends on the sound you're trying to get. I've used two LDCs on acoustic guitar before and it came out alright. They weren't even the same mics... one was an AT4040 and the other was a Rode M3. Just try it. If you don't like the sound, then at least you've tried...
