Hahaha thanks man, thanks for listening!
Yes, panning is pretty extreme. Think Ill post a live version from rehearsal soon, its a bit more raw . Pic is a yellow perch, we have a lot of em here in Michigan. Delicious fish to eat!
Cool, thanks!!!
I love that line as well :>) Bass player/lead...
Cool, working on lyrics/vocals now as well as tightening it up, adding a bridge etc.. Thanks for listening!
Thanks, yeah, threw a lot in there for sure, I often do that, then start trimming away to get a tighter, more cohesive song...will see here how that goes. Thanks for the listen!
Yeah that instrumental is called" On The Run", and the synths definitely have that vibe, very cool! Guitar tone is gnarly! Love it! Drums sound very live , cool throwback sound and I think adds some depth/width to the over all mix. I like it!
Man, killer!!!! Guitars and Bass sound fantastic! Really everything does, haven't rocked out to this old chestnut like this in a long time...really rocks and the modern powerful mix sounds awesome!
Yeah, was definitely a long drone to try out different delays and filter things thru out, working on some lyrics, a bridge, a possible solo, and trimming it way down....maybe set the drums on fire... :ROFLMAO:
Cool thanks, yup, really was getting into the drone while playing it, Im thinking it...
Just recorded this to try out the latest Pod Go firmware update, also used a EHX Attack Decay pedal and a EHX Mel9. Its pretty shoegazy and long, not shure what else Im going to do with it , or if will try to incorporate a version with my live band, but sure had fun doing it :>)
Recorded some multitracks during last practice...here's a warts and all quick mixdown of a original song called "Simplify' . Lots of reverse delay courtesy of an ehx canyon pedal.
:ROFLMAO: As have I my friend....as have I ....
Thanks for the listen!
That is a Earth Quake Devices Spatial Delivery pedal , kind of a envelope filter effect I'm using on the sample/hold setting, I'm running it in the effects loop of my Pod GO. Fun pedal. Totally agree on needing a strong hook...
very trippy, sounds "wide" thru my headphones, love that! Lots of interesting sonic textures in this, very full sounding, without things crowding each other, if that makes sense...I dig it! Very cool video as well
Just did this little demo to take to my band to possibly play in our sets for a little instrumental thing. Guitar is a '95 Fender Strat Plus Deluxe, Bass guitar is Rickenbacker 4001. Both recorded thru a Pod GO. Drums were loops from betamonkee.
Hahaha guilty as charged ?....I think I balanced it out a bit better, updated the op with link to new mix, thanks for listening!
Cool , thanks, Im struggling a bit moving back to reaper from studio one for my daw, not sure exactly why, but I seem to go from one extreme to the other very easily...
Really like the groove on this, organ sounds fantastic ,and really kicks things up a notch when it comes in, very well timed/placed in the song. Your vocal on this reminds me of Al Stewart with a nice touch of edge, Hear the Dylan vibe as well. I really enjoy your music. Well done!
