    "Flat out Winner"

Did anyone catch the quote of one Mr. Harvey Gerst, Indian Trail Recording Studio on page 19 of TapeOp #29??? "The MXL 603 - A flat out winner" was the quote. I believe the readers of this forum are the "flat out winners" having Harvey looking out for our best interests, and educating us...

    JBL LSR25P Monitor advice sougt

I am (by no stretch of the imagination) an expert in the field of near-fields. ;) However, the LSR25P appealed to me from many angles. Big, but not too big. Small, but not too small. Well received by many reviews, and possibly room to grow if I ever wanna sink some bux and get 3 more and...

    JBL LSR25P Monitor advice sougt

ChrisF, 1. I think the "smaller work environment" is referring to the relatively small footprint and cabinet size, and the magnetic sheilding. The operative word here is relatively. These things are dwarfs in comparison to their big brother, the LSR28P. I have mine approx 4 feet apart in the...

Hey SLuiCe, Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment. I was kinda thinking that chord sounded a little funky out there all by itself. Actually it sounded much worse! I had to cut its level by about 50% (he really hit that chord  ) I'll sift through my tracks... I'm sure I can...
