lol; no. It sound more like a slider on an EQ board is being moved around

Kind of like when you take a multi band eq and set everything to - inf decibles and then push one freq all the way up. Except I was hearing it as if each note was its own freq. Or sort of like I had a phaser on and it only phased on each note.

Does anyone one else hear notes as frequencies rather then just notes? I've been playing music on one type of an instrument or anthoer for anout 12 years. For the first time the other day I heard the notes as frequencies instead of the notes themselves.

I record with a 4 track that has virtual tracks, ill take notes on whats on what track and if something should be panned in the mix. When mixing i do a similar note taking process of whats what. Also if im programming drums ill write down the arrangement of patterns before i actually save it...

i thought all of them rocked. they are all supposed to have vox. there just demos for my vocalist, and recorded so i dont forget how to play.

I agreee with that; but i hate it when a song is based on instrumental melody; or the instrumental melody is supposed to be the main part. I just don't like it causee its overplayed.

instrumental melody is generally a waste of notes in my opinion

Its supposed to have vox. I just finished it the other day though, and I only write the music. My singer writes the vox.

dude the song rocks. 0:27 to 0:41 kick ass. I would cut the progression after 0:41 and just hand on the one part (0:40 - 0:41) for the entire verse because it sounds bad ass. btw- bass can stand out but not be loud enough at the same time. it makes sense: eq - stands out volume- not loud enough

what the hell is the 8 second rule? most things on the radio or mtv dont follow the "8 second rule."
