I can recommend a GREAT book! It is called "The Mixing Engineer's Handbook" By Bobby Owsinski. It has so many great tips, plus interviews with Top-Pros. I have read it twice in a week (because it is THAT nice a read) and am planning on reading more as I start mixing. Take care!

Hi all, I just got out the headphones and connected them to Out 1 of my headphone amp. I ran a 1/4 inch stereo cable (male to male) from an Output on the M-audio's interface to the Stereo input of the amp. I did not hear a thing. So I thought maybe I should use a 1/4 inch stereo male to 2 1/4...

Maybe I should I swicth to classic mode in Windows XP and turn off error reporting? That may help... Thanks for your assistance!

Hi all, I am new here. I have myself a pretty nice newbie setup including Sonar 3 Producer Edition and an M-audio Delta 1010 soundcard/interface. I am having problems with CPU drainage. My computer has a 1.7 GHz processor w/ 768 MB Ram. I was recording at 24/96 but that gave me major dropouts...
