What I like to do is remove everything below 150 Hz. Cut about 3-6 db from 300-700 Hz. and Cut either the 4 kHz, 5 kHz, or the 6 kHz. After all that is done, I also like to add diversity for my guitars. So what I'll do is add an LFO equalizer on one of the tracks so that it'll be different...

lol oh.. i thought he meant having the sound of a click as those from a click track being played simulataneously with the snare and only the snare. which i was actually able to pull off and it sounds amazingg, except i used the sound of a rim shot.

Turn down the guitars, give them more highs. Turn vocals up. Not sure about bass, I'm using my laptop speakers. You could do some intense stereo mixing for stuff like the intro by having the rhythm come out on two tracks, panned fully L and fully R and slightly off-set while having the lead...
