An one gig of DDR will not hurt you that much if you get Kingston. I just bought two pc2700 512 MB dimms for about $120 each, if I remember well.....

For video, you cannot top off a Gainward Geforce 4 Ti. Now depending on your budget and needs you´ll want the 4200 or 4600. Earlier you said you wanted to do 3D animation, you´ll need a kickass card for that, get the 4600...

Why don´t you try the following: Uninstall the card, then install drivers again and test. Uninstall music software and reinstall again, test. If this fails, maybe just give it a shot and move the Soundcard to another PCI slot, that is a bit far off, but who knows.......

What about Toy Matinee, that cd is a super slick production, the instruments are played in a superb flawless fasion, the mixing and production are seamless as well, a must any serious audiophile.....

A lot of people have bad experiences with WD HHD. A friend of mine who sells computers doesn´t carry WD because he says they are very faulty and unreliable. Other people here say the same thing. Make of it want you want.

Have you tried to normalize another track to see what happens? IS it just with one particular track that it happens? If it happens to all tracks, maybe there is some preference or option that you accidentaly changed or need to change. Could you normalize normally before? Since when do you get...

Pipe, you are right, some of that stuff has been squashed with no mercy six days till sunday, like the APC record, I bet the meters do not move a bit if you listen through a system with meters.

One of the top issues is to have a good motherboard because this will be the center of your system. Check out in forums if any users have problems with it and if it comes out clear, the only other issue would be problems between your souncard and mobo, because the other devices, HHD, CDRW video...

You should put a mic inside the bd, close to the head and another one at the end but inside the tunnel. What you can do is make a tunnel-tent with a thick blanket and some mic or cymbal stands, be sure to try to isolate the mics inside and to make sure that there are no openings in the tunnel...
