Can't attach the suspension mount to stand

Inside the female thred (on your shock mount) is a "threaded ring"that serves as your adapter for smaller/bigger hole mounting. That adapter is usually screwed into the shockmount when packed (easy storage). When you remove that threaded ring you will be left with the bigger thread which should...

    Christmas Wish List Help

Hey Nate, I'm not too familiar with the mics you listed, but here's a clip of the K2 in use.Very listenable vocals, and easy to judge the mic.I found it a bit "clouded" at times, but otherwise , for the price, I really like the sound recorded in this clip. :) edit: oops better include the link...

    mic opinions wanted..

hey shmak, have you considered the AT3035.It's cheaper than C1 and not as hyped in the upper range.Maybe even a bit dark. But would suit a higher voice (female?), acoustic guitar, maybe used on a guitar amp sometimes....there you go a few options...it's a nice mic for the price. :)

Yes , the adapter is in there (your female mount). You just need to take it out, and then you'll have the bigger "hole" :D

    AT3035 New User!

I had some real good sounds on a classical guitar with the 3035. I used my boards pres (tascam 3500) and just a tad of comp/limit on the way in (tl audio). A couple of pieces come up fantastic with just a tad of verb added to the recording. I had it @ 12th fret slightly off axis (towards sound...

    Samson C Compressor - Thoughts?

that is not very true. use the comp/limiter on the way in, just limit your peaks so you don't get clipping, and then compress when mixing.. I haven't used behringer compressors but that suggestion sounded favourable over 3630 and samson, which i never heard of. good luck
