Well I wouldn't compare software to music equipment. A good mic is still a good mic in 10 years the software will be obsolete in a couple of months and you are again expected to cough up money for the "bugfix" of the previous version. But I agree, if you make money with software you should pay...

You cann't pan anything in mono. Mono = one channel and one speaker (You can also listen to mono on 2 speakers, but if you pan anything, that's already stereo). Stereo = 2 channels 2 speakers where you can pan things to the left and right spaker (channel). Keijo

I'm telling you..... If I was offered a Mackie 24 channel mixer and a Behringer 24 channel mixer I would choose the Behringer. But put a Soundcraft next to those two no competition. And there is nothing you can say to change my mind... I have worked with them all. Keijo

I'm one of those persons who likes Behringer over the Mackies too. And I have worked with different boards (Yamaha 01V, Behringers, Mackies, Soundcrafts) so I DO have something to reference them too and I find the Mackie totally useless both EQ and preamp wise. It's just plain harsh. Sounds like...

I have 11 on RG550 but I tune to C#. I think 10 will work if you are tuned to D. You probably need to adjust the tross rod a bit too so you won't bend the neck too much. Keijo
