Agreed. The guitar can be improved with better mic positioning I think. The vocal sounds much better than the guitar, but needs some EQ treatment. Roll off some of the low-mid's from the vocal. Just my $0.02.
A Must-Have
I use my E-bow a lot. They sound great w/ delay and distortion, as a subtle element in a mix. The newer ones with the two settings are sweet.

Squiers are Fender Strats, cheap overseas versions thereof. I had one the first year they came out & the headstock read "Squier Stratocaster." "Fender" was printed on the back.

I remember...
Not new to recording, but I am new to drum machines. I just picked up a DR670 and, frankly, am overwhelmed with the selection of drum sounds.
In creating a drum kit, I should simply let my ears guide my selection. But there are so many, my ears get numb after a while.
