A song inspired by Yes /pink floyd

Guitar and bass interplay is cool.It has a very genuine early 70 vibe to it. What did you use for drums? It sounds like your playing them live on a keyboard. Also sounds like it's only snare and kick, which is actually quite interesting. As mentioned before, there's some distortion happening...

In terms of editing patches, the pc software you can get at the Vguitar forum is the way to go. Editing using the buttons on the pedal board is totally cumbersome. Also, for live use, it's haphazard to use as a stand alone(in my limited experience) Switching between patches is not...

    I am no one

Thanks for listening and opining, everyone. I didn't realize it was so low in level. I'll fix that. I don't mind that it's structurally repetitive, and don't really feel the need to add a chorus, but I wouldn't mind adding more sounds and layers to it. Conceptually, I was thinking along the...

Sold mine last year due to hard times. Impulsively financed another on MF. Took me a month to hook it up ,due to a combination of shame, and not having a guitar that was ready to accept the GK3. Hooked it up today.I must say, in spite of the cool non guitar patches, the real strength of this...

Audio won't play if VSTs are active

This problem doesn't occur if I'm only using REA plugins. Most of the plugins I'm using are the Kjaerhus Classic series, but there are others. I tried unchecking all the classic plugs, but that didn't solve it.

I'd probably just pan them both dead center.

    Karmic Groove

There was a low and high part on the verses, each panned about 30(-/+), then it's just the low part on the chorus. I didn't notice it sounding very noticeable.Probably should just go back and pan them both straight up.

Audio won't play if VSTs are active

Nope, it's almost all freeware (such as the Kjaerhus classic series.) Again, projects I going before the reload of windows, using the same plugins, are not affected. I've found that if I open new project, remove all the plugins and reinsert them, they will work. That is, until I close the...

    Why I sing the blues

Everything sounds performed really nicely, but something sounds small about. No room sound, or sumpin'. Maybe it's deliberately understated. Is that you on vocal and guitar, jimi? The vocal is the best thing going here.

Audio won't play if VSTs are active

I'm using the latest version (4.731)64bit on windows 7 (64 bit). I just reformated/reloaded windows 2 weeks ago.Projects I did before the reloading of windows seem unaffected.Things I've been working on the past couple days have the following problem: If a track has any vst plugins on them, the...

Pickup winding ? for Muttley, JCH, or any of you other fools

I also had the thrilling, if utterly misleading experience of building and winding a pickup, even in it's inferior and rudimentary form, and having it work. If only it hadn't worked, I'd have given up on this pipe dream.

What do you mean by handwind? Not using a motorized winder?

Pickup winding ? for Muttley, JCH, or any of you other fools

Originally, the idea was to custom size my pickups to the instruments(cellos) I'm building, which are completely haphazard and arbitrary in dimensions, such as string spacing, string height, etc. It's kind of gone beyond that now, to just wanting to know how it's done.
