Recording is humbling as it exposes all my playing inadequecies and Im forever redoing to try and make it sound better, on the flip side the enforce practice steepens the learning curve for both playing and recording

I find its a painstaking procedure to pencil out a drum beat but perhaps it getts better as you get used to it

Ive got a couple questions that I hope have generic answers
First Im using Makie Traction 2 , usb interface and a Yamaha E403 Keyboard
Im a complete noob to midi but was able to get the keyboard sequencing notes on a midi track in traction from the yamaha sound menu

Im in a small 3 piece band and we all have our own dynamic mics for shows
and I did a comparison between the three above mentioned mics .

I think that the Korean Crafter brand which has been around 35 yrs is fantastic, I own a PK Rose which has ridiculous inlay etc... Engleman top rosewood back and sides Lr Baggs electronics and retailed for just over 900 at the time . THe guitar sounds fantastic...
Im amazed at how thick some people can be , I play in a three piece irish type band and do 90 % of the singing , I have a band mate that seems to need to reintroduce the song after ive done my spiel and its driving me bonkers . You try to say something witty and build a rapore with your audience...
