ONce again if you export to OMF and then say open it in logic it preserves the basic layout of your whole project individual tracks and all ( however your plugs won't go with it obviously)
Look into it. seriously if you are going to just about any other system OMF might save you alot of work...
I would also put in a vote for seagull as well .... IMO i think they are best thing going till you hit about 1500 mark. got an older s6 + cedar sitting right here beside me and I actually prefer it over almost any guitar i've played new that was under 1500.
Just my thoughts

WQhat system are you using on the other system.... Might look into seeing it if is OMF compatable. OMF may be your best bet. ( i say may as in test it first)

I have in the past used 5400 rpm drives at ata/66 without issue ( cant run ALOT of tracks however 2 should be no problem ( actually have run up to 16 with that setup with out much issue) you may want to check the dma settings to make sure they are turned on ( windows 9.x especially)
just my...
I have seen somewhere ( any one know where ewould be great) that by wiring I *believe* a 150k ohm resistor across pins 2 and 3 will allow you to accurately measure the noise of a pre unit under a dummy load. any ideas?? this sound right and what would be the best way to actually measue this ( no...
If you run quite of few synths in the studio check this out. not sure of the pricing yet but My friend has 2 of these and they work great. Synth driver link

Recording the audio as opposed to running reason via rewire has the benefit of using less system resources and if you are on a older system can make or break a project in terms of size plugs etc. this is why i do it occasionally ( dealing with an older p4 1.7 system with only 512 of memory at...
You could always download the trial versions and see which you feel more comfortable with... here is the demo download base for steinberg Here
as far as it goes though they have sx1 for a demo and I don't believe that have an sl trial at the moment. Something to see how it feels though at no...
My experience has been to solo the channel .... set the markers to include the whole passage. then file ->export->audio mixdown. and then of course reimport it

If you are using a built-in sound card you most likely won't have the option of direct monitoring... Go into Device Setup and make sure you are using the ASIO driver ( if its available) and then try to adjust the latency settings to get a lower latency. you'll have to play with it to find a...
Most likey you are monitoing through cubase...What you are more than likely hearing is the latency ( if you are you have input and output latency BOTH and that might be highly noticable) what soundcard do you have? Something else to check for good measure ...turn off all your sends to make sure...
Yeah, thankfully the neighbors ( house next door) have a band too, so soundproofing isnt that essential ( just ogtta let em know before we record else we're recording their music too ! ) just looking to create a better sounding room. Thanks
I'm just interested in heritage cause they seem to be one of the few egames in town that make hollow body ( real hollow body) guitars with a 25" scale length or longer :P
I was figuring on putting some 3" 703 in the corner behind the bass amp , since it's the only corner that isn't obstructed by either a window or door. and then trying to put it on the corners where the wall meets the ceiling. I also have some 1' X 1' squares of 2" foam that I was thinking about...
Currently have this room to play with anything can be done as long as it isn't permanent. ( i know hell of a restriction)
Here is the room: It isn't quite to scale i realize the dimensions are 16 1/2 X 12 1/2 x 8 1/2 feet
