"The Travel Song" - heavy melodic rock original

Sounds good, maybe a little too much 'verb on the drums

Windows 7 64 bit - confirmed WORKING USB Interface

I've got a Tascam US-144 and Windows 7 64bit and aside from the occasional hiccup, they work together pretty well.

    I promised you space pirates

Very cool, don't know if I've ever heard something in 9/4. The second mix definitely sounds bigger and better.

Re-recording an album. New metal mixes.

I listened to En la Obscuridad. The guitars sound good, but they're burying the drums, also I might brighten up the guitar solo a bit.

Chemical Fire - cheesy metal song - final mix (???)

In that case maybe just make the 'Q' a little less narrow on the cuts that you already have, or maybe do a 1-3db dip with a wide Q at around 1k. BUT if you're playing with it and you don't like what's happening, don't listen to me, try something else. Follow your ears

    Studio Design; Signal Flow

I'm wondering if you need the preamp, most interface already have them built in, does yours?

The Genius That Is kcearl & guitarplayr82...

It sounded like maybe it just needed to be nudged a little bit. I can't listen now, but as I remember it was a little late so try a nudge to the left.

Chemical Fire - cheesy metal song - final mix (???)

I'm away from my monitors right now, but from what I am remembering, I want to say somewhere between 800 and 2k. Take that with a grain of salt though, I'm pretty green myself.

Alabaster Kin - End Of The Road

No doubt, the singing isn't bad. I mean, technically it's fine, it's on key and everything. I just can't get into the style of it I guess.

That synth does sound panned, and it is a bit off time. Nice mix though, keep it up

    (videogame music) medieval theme

Sounds really good on my monitors. I dig the tune a lot too.

Hold Me Over - New Wig Tune

I don't like that bass sound much at all, it's midi right? Maybe try a different patch. And the drums need some spice here and there. I would almost rather it not have drums, than have drums that never change. Other than that it sounds good.

    Street king

Not bad, a little monotonous and maybe a little overcompressed though. Maybe change that disco snare that comes in at 1:00 too.

Two more songs uploaded. One suicidal. One serious collab with an American Rapper

I'm not feeling these as much as your last post. They don't seem as tight, especially Patience, maybe a little forced over the beat. Still a lot of energy which is good.

Alabaster Kin - End Of The Road

Yeah I'm diggin these verses, some of the singing just isn't my style though. Like Road to Nowhere, I don't know, reminds me of when metal bands have singing parts. For some reason it always sounds bad to me. And End of the Road, reminds me of when Eminem sings, not my style. Overall, nice...

    Mix suggestions please

Yeah definitely more vox and more solo. There is something in there thats phasey, but I think it works for the song. It's loud and in your face but not too intense. Good separation. Nice work.

Chemical Fire - cheesy metal song - final mix (???)

Cheesy indeed. I might take some upper mids out of the guitars, sounds good though.

    We Belong Together

Something weird about the bass but other than that it sounds pretty good to me, nice work
