Yes, there is a clean-up tool! Hit file and then there's a "clean-up" option. Click it and run it. It deletes all files not used in your projects.

There seems to be barely any noise after I unplug the guitar cable from the firebox. But when I plug in the 1/4 cable into the jack, that humming noise is there no matter what is connected to the cable (so it's not the guitar). I have used a noise gate vst (cubase) and it does a good job but...

Actually I think the bass is fine. Playing through my monitors might be the problem which I will upgrade some day. If it's just the right note (frequency) they shake and buzz like crazy but it's not the bass causing it.
