In vegas you can change the "rate" and doing so slows down the sound. I would like tyo be able to export the slowed sound to wav. I have many plug ins which pitch shift with out lengthening or lengthen without pitch shifting but none which allow me to do hem both. Thanks, lD

I have used cakewalk forever but have been tempted by Cubase's Virtual synths and now today.. i read the n-track supports VST. Anyone using n-track with virtual synths? Any good resources for free virtual synths? How do virtual synths work (can you adjust filters et.. and is the latency ok?)...

ever tried I've just tried Recycle - - it is damn nice for cutting loops. Have you all trid it?

change selection.. by change selection i mean to change the length and posistion of what i have highlighted. (You know how when you drag your cursor over a certain part it is "selected") And whatever is highlighted or selected will loop itself when the transport is in "transport loop mode"...

Is there a "best" way to cut seamless loops from other recordings etc.. I use Vegas Pro, load the .wav file, put the transport in loop mode, and then change the selection until it sounds right. There must be a better way. thanks lD

direct pro The card is very nice. It sounds clean - clean. The software "mixer" interface is too small and can't be maximized. If they could make the virtual mixer more functional by adding "key bindings" or "hot keys: then it would be the bomb - -but it is worth it any way.

direct pro I own the Direct Pro and I reccomend it. Very clear sound. Only drawback is the interface is kind of hard to use. lD
