i have cooledit2k...i don't have a cd burner yet nor a website. but want to at least email some samples (kinda large). saving a .wav as an mpeg then using winzip helps alot to condense it but is there something else? i heard about mp3'ing. is this what i need or is this something totally different??

trying to keep it simple with .wav files but looking for a gothic organ program. found one at shareware but it's for midi.

i got the fruityloops demo and it's great. the full manual is user friendly but nothing is mentioned about what features might be dis-abled. my main screen does'nt even have a "loop" button (as i see one in one of the sample screen shots). can do alot but seemingly nothing in the "playlist...

wow. fruityloops Is amazing.....and the on-line manual is very user friendly. not that anyone would want to but it seems u could make a cd with just fruityloops and it's samples.....

pitch shifter....don't think so. there's a pedal called octave plus that i hope to find a software version of. what u described is right but a pitch shifter guitar pedal does'nt do that. did'nt know about the us/europe tuning thing but have been very curious as to the whole established...

i guess it's integers...the program is analogX auto tune. u can select note/freq. and it will change a track to it as well as sample rate (i keep getting illegal operation though). what i'm trying to do is raise a copy of a track to a higher (root)note...u know an electronic way of having guitar...

a different kinda query.....how many frequencies (not sub freq's) are there in between two musical notes? like from A to A sharp. i have a program that adjusts the freq. of any track but my listening skills are'nt bionic.

i have cooledit2k and was going to get "drumtrax", a seemingly good drum software. just found out that it uses midi files only...why on earth? well, is there another good drum software that has real drum sounds and has .wav file options?

have SB live. in the windows volume box i've got the settings at 3/4 (record properties). not sure about the clock speed...do you mean motherboard speed? i find it's crucial as to the ratios between mic distance and guitar amp volume.
