Your kit will not sound similar to everyone else using condensors overhead.
Due to various factors such as kit tone & tune and your style of play and performance, using condensors will maximize the sound emanating from the kit
and capture a cleaner & clearer perf than using dynamics.

Since I own a Grace 101 and have been impressed with it's overall perf, obviously I will recommend the unit just the same as another will opine getting the Focusrite, Mindprint, Meek, Seb etc. All good choices.
