LB if your looking for a pedal to use with your VF160 a BOSS FS-5U will work or almost any momentary "unlatch"-type foot-switch will work. Like a keyboard sustain pedal.
I do 99% of my tracking on my fostex VF160's.
All my mixing is done in reaper. Come over to the dark side. A lot of protools users seem to be jumping ship and going to protools.
Cool........
I'm going to give it a try.
Just getting back in to recording and mixing..Took a break for over a year.
I should get something out in the next day or two.
:confused: There is no reason it cant be used for an electric guitar.
If your plugging your guitar right in to it then no it won't work. (The same for a Bass or a mic) You will need a preamp
I use the JamMan with a volume pedal. I don't plug my bass or guitar into it.
I only use the JamMan for loops or backing tracks. Also I built a foot controller so I can change loops without bending over.
It's time to change out the pickups on my P-Bass. Looking for a warmer tone with less mud..
It currently has EMG Select P-Bass Pickups on it with a through body bridge.
Any suggestions.
I was thinking Basslines SPB-3 quarter-pounders.
