Before I get battery I think i might want to get a drum pad controller like the MPD16 first, i already have the emu xboard 61. Im not liking doing drums on the keyboard.
When I get some more money I might look into the Akai MPD16 instead of the trigger finger. On the other hand I do need to buy some sounds for my new XBoard...I might check out the Mo Phatt kit or Street kit from emu.
I was askin cuz i was tryin to send you pm's but it said ur box was full and my email got returned when i tried to send u one. When i get off work here ill put u on the buddy list n shit
Just came from GC. Ended up getting a EMU Xboard 61 (comes with full version of proteus x *3GB of sounds*). So im gonna work with this and fruityloops.
I will definitely do that. Thanks for listing all those sounds and plugins. I'll definitely look into them when I get home from work. I just came from guitar center shopping for a midi controller and ended up getting the EMU Xboard 61 for 250 and it comes with the full version of proteus x so...
I just came from GC shopping for a midi control and they had a return of the Axion49 they were gonna sell me for $225. It looked great but I decided to get the EMu Xboard 61 for $250 because it comes with the full version of proteus x (not the LE version like xboard 49 includes). Havent used...
Is the axiom 49 out yet? If not when does that one come out.... I'm lookin to get my 1st midi controller also and was lookin at the axiom 49 but since it isnt out I may go with the Edirol PCRM50 or M-Audio Oxygen 49
I'm gettin into fruityloops and I know I'm gonna need more than the included sounds so I was lookin at some plugins...Kontakt, Battery, Absynth...which ones the best for the money or is there a better one.
I just got a NT1a last week. I used to have a hure ksm27, wish I woulda kept that mic cuz this Rode isnt as good for my voice it is fairly brittle. Takes too much EQing.
i think ill just start off with fruityloops and get a cheap $200 midi controller and learn from there....maybe if i get good eventually get a turntable for sampling lol
The question im asking is, for a beginner who is wanting to learn how to make beats, which would be the best/easiest route to go, nevermind the price tag differences. Give some reasoning behind your thoughts.
I had the firebox for about 5 months, loved it, had to sell it. The pres are great for the price and its very stable...i recently saved up and got the focusrite saffire which i love also, the pres are a little warmer than the firebox and i think the overall sound quality is better and included...
Basically I want to start learning how to make hip hop beats in fruityloops and I've heard the process can be alot easier if you have a midi controller? What midi controller do you guys recommend in the $200 range?
