Record the guitar twice and hard pan. For me, it really is just that simple. The more a like the two tracks, the bigger they will sound. The more they are different, the more they just sound like two separate parts.

Why are you setting up busses for inputs? Did you activate all the inputs?

Yep, I'm with these guys. What preamp are you using now? I have a pair of Gefell M300's (real Neumans), and they are FANTASTIC. I've had guitar players stop playing because they can't believe how great their guitar sounds during recording.

Thanks guys! I know the timing is a bit sloppy, and the intro is off quite a ways. I am hoping to cut the intro and leave just vocals there. The bass is just a rough take still, so hopefully it will help tighten the song a bit. Any other comments greatly appreciated. :D
