    Could someone explain the advantage of 24/98 recording over 16/44.1. Am I correct in that when the final tracks go to cd it is all converted to 16/44.1 ? If that's the case in my mind it seems there would be little to gain.

    I capo at the third fret so it is a little high and the guitar is a little bright. These mics are dirt cheap.$44 for a matched set.The guy that makes them frequents this forum so I'm sure he'll give you more info. Naiant Studio is where their made. I'm sure a search will turn up more info.

    Well I hope these mics do what I'm hoping for,I just ordered a matched set of the 10's. I have been really into messing with recording acoustic guitar and vocals, one mic,one take. I want my recording to sound like your in the room with me. Sort of like the old bluegrass single mic recordings...
