So i am getting tired or the Rode NTK, i love it but i wanna try something else. I sold my rode so i now have about 350$ to spend on a new mic.. My problem with the rode is that its too smooth and nice sounding.. i wanna make rock vocals.. but its just too nice on my voice. I am open to any...

i dont think your gonna sell a 1500$ mic pre with 0 previous posts. Unless someone can really vouch for you.

I am not judging.. because i have inthe past and still use some cracked software ... but there is nothing sadder then a cracker who cant even get a crack to work.. or in this case .. even know what a crack is.

I am looking at upgrading my motu 896 to this fireface unit... my question is.. i have to sell me aphex 207 preamp http://www.zzounds.com/a--2676837/item--APH207D -without the digital out.... my question is.. do you think the built in preamps on the firewire.. would do a decent job of subbing...

the ua25 will only let you record at 48khz.. it says 96khz.. but you can record and then playback.. you have to record.. turn it off.. switch a button .. turn it on then listen.. etc.. my personal recomendation is to save a bit more and get an edirol fa-66.

dont get the motu.i own one and it is nothign but trouble.. get the firepod and put the difference in cash into mroe gear.

of course plus something else or cash or what not.. let me know

Yeah man you got it,,. just an acoustic body.. was so impressed by the sound of my rode ntk that i just hit my guitar body for drums.. thanks for the compliments man.. the NTK really is a abeauty of a mic.

Ok so i finally got my wharfedale's. The ones everyone is always talking about in these forums. These monitors are big, much larger then my old edirol monitors, But they are still very sexy. And yes... the blue led is a little bright. The construction seems very solid and they have some good...
