    Brace Yourselves...kinda heavy!!!!!!!

Hey Toki, thanks for the listen. I kinda think that it is probably as heavy as i can get it. I always like to come back to a real groove no matter how heavy it is so you can still move to it. Wireneck, The roland is my board. I use the pre right in it. They have come a long way from the...

    War Torn

Awesome! Man this is sweet. I really enjoyed this. it is very sad sounding. I love this type of atmosphere, this would be really cool with some mournful vox. I agree. but it is killer as is too. Kinda short, but i gotta give it 5 man.

Song #2 from the FromWithin demo now online...

Nice recording! Nice Job! Both songs sound really well recorded. The vocalist only sounds like Kud from Mudvayne when he screams. The singing on this one is kinda hard for me to handle . it is a bit whiny for my taste. These guys definately are tight in there playing...my only nitpick was...

    Brace Yourselves...kinda heavy!!!!!!!

Thanks for the listen Hey Sonixx, Thanks for the listen. Glad you can understand it. TJ(vox) will be pleased too because when you are doing vocals this heavy it is hard to really sound coherent, and ennunciate. The next tune i post you may not be as lucky with...it is really fast...

    High School Project...

Drums are nice sounding! Nice sounding recording. It sounds really organic to me. Nothing is really too harsh. I agree the drums sound really nice, but i might take a tiny bit of the lows out of the snare. That is strictly a preference thing. Rock on man!

    The Twelve Days of X-Mosh

Second only to T.S.O.!!! I have to agree on the repetitive nature. But as said very good performance. This sounds like something M.O.D. or GWAR would do. Cool, you got any non christmas stuff that you can post? Keep the mosh-music coming. Good Job!

    Line 6 Spider 2's

Line 6 rules! You can record direct with them, but you can get really great results micing them too. I am a Line 6 convert so i am all gung ho about the majority of their products. I think they are great. Have you heard the HD147 head full stack. I am telling you that thing is fucking...

    Metallica's Justice lead sound

Tube Screamer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I definately agree with everything that Gaylord stated, but I think you were looking for more of the actual lead tone, than the rythym. The lead tones Kirk stated were not all boogies on that album, they were a collection of different amps. His...

    Which Sticks Do You Use?

Zidjian Dipsticks (5B) I normally use Zildjian Dipsticks (5B) I have a shitload of cheapies laying around as well. I noticed that as my playing has evolved, and improved over the last couple years the less sticks i brake. I purchased the Jon Tempestasignature sticks when i first...

    Schecter Guitars -- Opinions?

SCHECTER GETS MY VOTE!!!!!!!!!!! Now alot of people will come on here telling you that Schecter is garbage...DON"T LISTEN! My main guitar is the Schecter Diamond Series c1 in walnut finish. This guitar plays great, and sounds great. And most of Schecters 4 hundred dollar on up guitars are...

    Two Metal Mixes

HEAVIER IS BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the heavier guitars are better. I also think that the vox are a bit loud in some spots, but you are mainly focusing on guitars so i would have to say the heavier...And drop the vox a tad. Metal!!!! Keep it coming.
