    Delta 1010 and what?

Wouldn't your average Joe Shmoe have a Soundblaster or something similar? Or the onboard sound.

    Channel inserts.

I'm confused... I plug my cables (standard guitar cable) all the way in to the inserts, And all the way into the soundcard input, and never have adverse reactions. Is there something I am missing??? Oh wait... We're talking about if you still want the signal to pass through the channel As well...

    Recording PCs and the Internet

I have a USB Direct Connection Cable for transfering files. Granted I only have one PC now, But it was a breeze to tranfer gigs of data very quickly when I needed to. And, yes, I do use this PC for everything.

Ah... no most of the ones I use are not line-level... Though they do have hot outputs. I do have one battery powered condenser, though.

    Juggling three sticks while playing

I went to a Blues Festival a few years ago And one of the drummers was juggling his sticks (+ 1) during their set. Made it really fun to watch.

Simple recording to my pc/mp3 cdrw. Can it be done?

You can get a cable that at one end has the RCA plugs... On the other end is a 1/8" miniplug. Only like $5 at Radio Shack. Like this... but you can get less "fancy" ones for much cheaper... http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=15-2451

Simple recording to my pc/mp3 cdrw. Can it be done?

Don't use the "Mic Input" of your soundcard, use the line-in. Also, that Behringer has RCA outs right? You could just use an RCA-1/8" wire. A couple bucks at Radio Shack. Then you wouldn't have to worry about getting that "Y" jack. And yes, your CD-RW drive is the burner.

    Sampled Drum Kit

The toms do sound that way a little bit. I didn't think the cymbals or the hat sounded too bad , Aside from the lack of varience in velocity.

    SM57 Directly into Delta 44

Well, like I said... I get enough signal (On high spl sources such as drums) And it sounds no different than with the preamps, aside from the noise issue. I'm sure If I had better preamps, it might be a different story.

    SM57 Directly into Delta 44

I tried running various mics directly into my Delta 44 (When I realized my Behri mixer was adding a few dB of noise.) The sound quality, is no different than with my Behri preamps, Just a lot less noise.

    moving cubase wav files

Can't you export as an OMF? I've never used this before but I believe this is the function of OMF. Edit: OMF Explained The OMF format, or OMFI (Open Media Framework Interchange, means the same as OMF), is a file format that can be read by many professional-level audio programs. OMF files...
