i have a mackie mixer and i've got 6 mics running into it, 4 of which require phantom power. the others are an SM57 and an AKG D112. if i turn on the phantom power on the mixer and it powers all channels, will it be harmful to the dynamic mics? or will it not matter whatsoever?

what would you recommend, then, for overheads? again i need two preamps, preferably in a rack format (but half rack is not the end of the world) and the best possible price vs. performance... did i mention i work for min wage?
