Was going to bed and I had thought i had my Zoom MRS1608 and my wharfdales turned off so I turned the power off at the surge strip as i do every night after everything has been shut down. I then realized what a stupid thing i did when i watched the blue power lights on my wharfdale slowly fade...

Well just a lil update here. I spoke to Music123 as planned, talk to a different CS rep and she arranged to send me out the right set free overnight shipping. Got them on Thursday and am blown away by the sound of these babys so far. Can't wait till they're broken in :) Gabriel

Well the room I'm doing my recording in is 13' X13'. And they want the 8.1 back before they ship out the 8.2 even though it was their error. Mabe it's time to stop using these guys :mad:

Problem is Music 123 sent the 8.1 not the 8.2 Argh :mad: So my question is this, is there a huge difference between these 2. It's gonna take 2 more weeks to exchange to the 8.2 if I go that route. TIA Gabriel

I just checked my Zoom MRS 1608 and it only has a digital out on it no Digital in. Any way I can get this to work?

Hi, I'm recording to a Zoom MRS 1608. So if i upgraded my quality of cables and used shorter lengths this may resolve my distorion issues? Also I'm trying to use a GT6 for my recordings, where would I go about picking up digital coaxial cables, I'm assuming these would improve my sound...

OK, still trying to fix this distortion problem. What i did was use a shorter cable, a speaker cable to be exact and the sound seemed to clean up quite a bit. So my question is this, is it possible that poor quality (cheap) cables can distort your guitar when DI?

Running my guitar DI into my new Zoom MRS 1608. Problem I'm having is that the guitar distorts real bad. I thought i fixed the problem using my GT6 (sounded grear last night) but today the same problem popped up again and I haven't changed any settings. I've adjusted the Guitar input sensitivy...

Hi Kevin, Thanks for the input. To follow your questions in order "I recall DI inputs for guitar were on the front of the unit. Are you using these as opposed to the inputs on the rear?" I'm plugged into the front input jacks "Have you tried pressing the effects bypass button?" Of course :)...
