hey Laj, the main thing you lose going with cheaper pads is some dynamics, and also the more expensive pads allow you to have different sounds per pad...it sounds different hitting the rim than it does hitting the center.. also the ability to choke the cymbals. Depending on what kind of tunes...

hey dude, I can appreciate the fact that this is a metal song. :) There are some problems with the sound IMOP....... it sounds like there are very little mids and only the cymbals have any highs. The drums also seem to maybe be a bit too loud. The song is decent but I dont like the drums...too...
