OK. Well I think whatever you get will do you well on acoustic guitar. In terms of what to use, small cardioid or omni would suit you fine, but I don't think they are CERTAIN. You'll definately want a stereo recording, so two similar mics is important. I'm gonna stick my head out: Lynx22...

Another question: Will you be wanting to use the mics for ANYTHING else other than piano? Vocals, guitar, wind instruments? Is it solely piano or just the priority is piano? I think we'll get some suggestions soon :)

Digital Village isn't too bad for Oktava's. Mk-012 is £90, dunno if thats your kinda price range. B1's would do a nice job though.

Damn :( Thought I could get away without making myself look stupid :D Basically, it was obviously some problem with the bit rate in Cakewalk. I don't think those early versions (Pro Audio 8) can handle exporting 24bit files, so I mixed it down into a stereo track at 16bit, and then exported...
