Something in honor of the season

Mr. Soloway!!!! You recorded this too quietly, I had to crank it to hear it. I'm glad I did too. This sounds great. Is it one of the newly built guitars? Your style on the 7 string KILLS I Love everything you do Jim!!!:D Dan

how can i improve my vocals on this song?

your vocal line is jumping all over the place melodically. As a new singer, you need to simplify what you sing. No matter what the style, you have to make people believe you know what you are doing and BELIEVE what you are singing. This is just my opinion so take it for what it is worth: appr...

    Allergic to my love

So THATS what the LI stands for.... You sound like a true bluesman. The track had a very natural feel to it. Just hearing the harp solo and it sounds like its not quite in the room with the guitar. You should fix that. Other than that this tune is true "urban country east-coast white-boy blues":D

    looking for opinions...

Seriously I think you guys have got something going BUT........... These recordings are simply un-listenable. I would like to see you guys live. If you don't want to learn recording, you should go to someone who already knows and get them to record you. The music ROCKS and I think you NEED to...

how can i improve my vocals on this song?

sandwich............ Simplify your melody line. If you are fairly new to singing keep your melody line as simple as the song will allow. As you gain more experience it will become more natural. You will eventually find YOUR voice, which is the ONLY voice you will ever need. So much of singing...

2 or 3 tunes i been tinkering with....

Hello Kevin Riding down these country roads: This could have been Tommy Tedesco recording for a scene from the Beverly Hillbillies in the early 60's. The whole tone and feel was pure early 60's IMO. Easy Goin OK Tomorrow's Gone: Back to that retro guitar sound that seems to really suit your...

    Short acoustic piece...

Welcome aboard I agree about a lot of finger slide and pick noise. But the only way to start to adress those issues is to know they exist by hitting the big red button and submitting the results to places like this. Good basis for an instrumental song, there might even be a way to work in a...

Hey there........... I listened to the slow blues clip. Then I listened to Convergence............ My only real question is why bother to post here? New mp3, Robin Trower cover with vocals

Hey dbm............. I went and checked out the details page link from this recording. Very informative stuff. Your setup is truly a blues man's dream what with the nice guitars and amps and everything. The dream is realized in the quality of your recorded guitar sounds.

    Radio head cover

I'm old but, I thought RadioHead was a really LOUD band. This song is very listenable. Your performance was very heartfelt, IMO. Vocals guitar very well balanced. I liked the guitar sound. I've never heard the original but I like your version.

    Y B Blue?

still4........... I thought you had a nice lead tone there. You play the bass in this one 2? The whole mix is pretty pleasant............ Maybe in a song that long you need a bridge somewhere to kind of keep it interesting. Good Work.........................Classy

    Saturday Night. Take 2

I could sure hear this blasting away at a big motor-city bar. This has a reaL 80's rock feel to it. I like the drum sound. The mix seems right, in fact it's probably very well done.

    Live Doors tune

Sounds pretty good for a Live recording. I like the vocalist. You had a lot of clappers in the crowd.
