For me it was the detail in the "mechanics" of the sax. The way the pads sounded against the instrument, and life (a "glisten") at the very beginning of each note. The mp3 really lost that 'life' or 'space' or 'feel' or however you want to classify it. Great experiment. I still want to go...

I am planning to change the ceiling in my sound room this winter to make it a little more soundproof. I am therefore looking at some alternatives for lighting the room. It's a small room, only 13x16. But it has a low ceiling. When I'm done, it will probably be just over 7' so I'd prefer not...

I hope not... I think it would shatter a lot of opinions of the man, and... as many seem to think... he is doing this to put together a for profit company, it would destroy his reputation before it even gets off the group as I'm willing to bet those that were shafted would be very vocal about it.
