    Pedalboard?

Howdy I'm just looking for some advice regarding pedal boards. I sold all of my pedals about a year ago as I wasn't gigging and mainly producing. Now I've the opportunity to play lots more and I'm reinvesting in pedals. I'm curious as to what a good pedal board would be with the below chain...

    After a new audio interface!

Hey hey I'm wandering if you guys can advise me on an audio interface. I currently use a tc electronic desktop konnect 6 which is amazing for its price range. FireWire,2 line inputs and 1 mic input. Really good for what I've needed it for. I've sort of out grown it now; I want to be able to...

    V drums and logic

Thanks for the advice guys. I've tried the exs24 drums and yeah they work a bit better but I'm specifically having trouble with the hihats and cymbals...basically the pedal hi hat doesn't respond properly and if I hit a cymbal hard then I just get silence...playing around the kit is a bit odd...

    V drums and logic

Hello! I have recently purchased a Roland td-11 v drums kit. Sounds and plays amazing. Hooked it up to logic with the USB midi and tried playing it through ultrabeat. Sort of worked...but hasnt mapped properly; hihats are silent in certain places on the pad...the cymbal is a shaker for...

Roland V Drums as MIDI controller

Hey folks I have a query regarding electronic drums and using them as a controller! I use Logic on an iMac and a tc electronic desktop konnect 6 firewire interface. My interface does not have a MIDI in/out so obviously I either upgrade my interface or get this: UM-1EX :: Products :: Roland...

    Faulty SM57?

Hey folks Just a query regarding my SM57. I've only been doing this recording lark for just over a year so still noobish with mics and stuff. I purchased a second hand SM57 off ebay (I checked all the classic 'fake' things such as weight, wiring and intricate details and it passed). I also use...

    Gah! Amp hiss!

OK so I just did the test. With nothing plugged in there is a hiss. Can this be some kind of electrical inteference? I live in a terraced house so have a neighbour directly next door...do things like that affect it? It's frustrating! I'm trying a denoiser but it just makes everything sound...

    Gah! Amp hiss!

OK so I'm recording an American Standard Telecaster into Ashton Bluetongue 50w Combo with an SM57. Why does it have this annoying hiss? How do you get rid of it? I'm recording clean and dry...its not too bad on a single track but double tracking is a hiss fest. It's annoyyyyying! Any...

    Island Hideaway

My vocals aren't great and my room isnt treated brilliantly; hence masking the lame recording with effects etc.... I'm more pleased that you like the arrangement, that's far more important for me as a musician. So thanks for that!

    Island Hideaway

Thanks for the heatmiser. I did feel that the drums were a bit dominant so that's really useful thanks. Really appreciate the advice and compliments!
