    The "Fancy I'm Sorry" song

Oh no go ahead dude, critique! That's how I've gotten this far. I don't piss people off on purpose hahaha. Well one time I negged repped Dogman while I was drunk but I didn't remember. I called him a bitch but I kept denying it until he proved to me that it was. When Rami got pissed that's when...

    The "Fancy I'm Sorry" song

Just some synth I added to make it more interesting. ;) But yea all those tones are just the amp. I used the "nicer" gain for the distortion and solo. The clean guitars are on the clean channel with a little post eq, it had a little too much low end and not enough mids. Hmm, what else. Well I...

    I beg for advice

Patience my friend! Don't put yourself down like that! Just buy an excercise book and practice it consistently. Learn a song that is NOT easy for you. When you finally learn then you go to the next level. It takes years to master the guitar. I've been playing guitar since 6th grade(I'm a college...

    distortion...?no,--frustration !!!

Ofcourse you can find great tones with stomp boxes but it is alot more work.

    distortion...?no,--frustration !!!

Wow dude, an over drive AND the metal zone? Don't tell me this is going on the dirty channel  . Well first off, the best distortion is produced by a good quality amp, tube usually. Now you are using stomp boxes and they usually don't produce the best tone. For recording you don't want so...

    another metalballad..

I disagree dude. I heard it again and unless my ears decieve me, I think it still needs some work man.

    Who plays with their knobs?

I always had it on the Bridge PU but now I learned to use the neck PU more too.

    another metalballad..

Hmmm...I still don't like the tone. Are you recording direct? The riffs are still cool though. I'd say still take out low end on the guits and let the bass dominate on the low end. Turn up the kick and snare a little and pan out the cymbals. The lead could be a bit louder and have some reverb...

    Who plays with their knobs?

    hahahaha :D :p

    another metalballad..

The guits are muddy as hell. Try doing the guitar wall for a thicker sound and make sure the mic is as close as possible to the amp.
