hmmmmmmm, thanks for yer info.... i'm gonna try cleaning the drive with a brush cd (hopefully won't scratch my ish)... if that doesnt work i'll try reinstalling, if that doesnt work, then i don't know.... maybe take it to a professional....... the weird thing is is that im getting memorex 1x-16x...

i was just sayin that all the audio files i got before said .mp3, like files from mp3.com, audiogalaxy, morpheus, etc etc, so when i used nero's wave editor and saved i changed it to .mp3 and not wav or .vqf or somethin like that..... and then i burned them on ecdc 4 and after that my cd writer...

i'm makin audio cd's..... every file ive burned before and after this happened were all .mp3 files so i'm sure if that is what it is.... i think i'm gonna reinstall ecdc 4 and if that doesn't work i'll try the firmware update..... do you know where to get this from and how to do it???

what i did was edit them through nero then i copied to file, as a .mp3 file and then i burned them through easy cd creator 4.... you said not to do this???? but now my ecdc4 is all screwed and it's having trouble read blank cd's....... i hope this isn't because of the editing i was doing...

anybody have any thoughts on why my easy cd creator 4 isn't reading blank cd-r's????????

i deleted my nero stuff..... it's still not working right....... everythings cool until i hit create cd and ok then it says to put in a blank cd when one is already in there............ I NEED TO KNOW WHY IT'S NOT READING BLANK CD'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how do you uninstall adaptec and install it if...

well i dont think its the cds that are not working..... i think somewhere along the lines of downloading editing programs something went wrong with my cd creator 4 program and now its having trouble reading blank cd's............ any suggestions????

well i got some memorex and they arent workin either.... somethings wrong with my easy cd creator 4......... ive never had this before and i have a huntch it has something to do with me downloading editing programs and maybe they interfered with my creator 4....... do u see this happening...

i'm not sure where to find this out... it doesnt say on the cd door..... i have a hp pavillion with an internal cd writer(re) and i use adaptec creator 4........... i have a write speed of 2,4, 0r 8x on adaptec 4 and i use to burn 16 x on it always but these 32x won't work..........the rw drive...

they are cd r's....... i usually use verbatims 1x-16x cd-r's but the place i buy them from now only carries the verbatim 1x-32x, which should work the same but for some reason my computer isnt reading it and i'll hit create cd and it will tell me to enter a blank cd when i already have one in...

i cut one file using goldwave but it took the original file and edited it and now i cant get it back.... the sound quality isnt as good as the original either..... i got nero and i'm gonna try using that....

how can i do that??? do you know of a free program to get????

man you can only record for 2 minutes on the demo of sonic foundry........ isnt there something out there??????????????
