just wanted to say this is a badass song man. i like it a lot. as for sound quality, i don't have much to say... sounds good to me. i agree with the others that the string parts can be backed off a bit. but otherwise really nice. i wouldn't mind buying a whole CD of your stuff.

hi. i need to buy a kick mic, but i don't want to spend a lot of money. are there any good kick mics that can be had for under $50 new or used? it has to have a frequency response down to 20hz at least... i want to be able to capture all the low bass. thanks.

well, you probably can replace the capacitors and pots with much better ones and have a little improvement.... even change out the resistors for metal film types. however, i don't think it's worth investing that much money when you can buy a better pre for the same amount.

naw.... not muddy. it's very clear. ...it's just that it seems to lack that crystal quality that i think you are capable of. you know what i mean? the recording's really nice actually. a little high-end definition would make this recoridng perfect............... and dump the snare. heh he.

well, i didn't mean to sound harsh, if that's how you read my words. i like the sound. really. just thought it could be better. ....the reason i say different reverbs is that different instruments sound clearer than others. like the oboe solo is very reverby and muddy... which isn't all...
