Exactly. But I do have to admit that limitations can be confusing ... ie, when using compression as a dynamic effect you're somewhat limited as to what you have available for inserts and sends. But I agree, there's nothing "wrong" with Tascam's implementation, but the documentation is wanting...

Assuming you have a DP-24 (from your previous posts). I'm pretty sure you can't. Tracks 13 thru 24 are paired stereo tracks (usually used for stereo inputs like drums, synths, keys, etc). What you have are 12 mono tracks and 6 stereo pairs (ie, 12 tracks, L/R). Are you exceeding 18 tracks total?

I can't say I've seen that behavior, but only because I don't play CDs on the DP-24. Maybe no one has reported it to Tascam. Previous firmware updates resulted from users' comments/complaints.

Actually, that's what you'll have to do. Only one send effect can be active at a time. So record your tremolo track and bounce it to an empty track. Then reset the EFFECTS to your chorus and record that track, bounce it to another unused track. When you mix, you'll use the bounced tracks...

You are mistaken. It should be set to line. There's something else amiss in the OP's set up. I'd double check to be sure there isn't some unknown dynamic FX on that channel and that there is no FX assigned to the track.

Not enough info. What keyboard? Does it have stereo output? Does it have separate L/R outputs or a single TRS output? Typically you'd leave the switch on "line". For stereo, you should run the L/R output of the keyboard to TWO inputs on the DP24, and assign them in the DP24 to a stereo pair...

You want a USB 2.0 interface ... I have no idea what the mixer you mention is, but I suspect it's USB 1.1 (too slow). Look it up.
