As far as the intro for the song is concerned....... Should I just skip it, and start the song right where the vocals come in? Steven

    Proof that the BR8 Rocks!

Smada, You can go out of your BR-8 "Line Out" and into your sound card. You will need a cable that has a 1/8 inch end and to RCA ends. RCA ends go from "Line Out" right and left.. then run the cable into the 1/8 input on your sound card. Then run it into Cakewalk or something like that...

Is This Good Enough to Send Out as a Demo?

Very cool. Thanks for the tip. That was the first time I tried recording the guitars in the bathroom. The room is completely tiled. Floor-Walls-Ceiling. Sounds like it was a bad choice. Bummer. Steven

Is This Good Enough to Send Out as a Demo?

By the way. All of the guitar parts were recorded in my bathroom. LOL. I would never record a acoustic guitar without a mic. I actually thought they sounded pretty good. What gave you the impression that I plugged directly in? Steven

Is This Good Enough to Send Out as a Demo?

Do you really think the vocals need to come up? They seem to stand out fine to me in my studio. Steven

    Proof that the BR8 Rocks!

Ben, I would not suggest going into the P.A. then into the VS. THis could damage your equipment. You can however go into a mixing board, then go into the VS. Just watch your levels. I agree with you about recording acoustic guitars with a mic. Thats how I do it too. Check out the song "SLOW...

    Please help!

John, Thanks for listening. I have a couple drum machines I use. I dont use the rhythm guide for any of my songs. I do however use the rhythm guide for a solid tempo for acoustic songs. But I dont use it in the final mixdown. The bass simulater is really cool. I have used it before. But I own...

    Proof that the BR8 Rocks!

Benny, I am No longer having any problems with my volume levels. When you say your "recording level is too low." What do you mean? Does it sound low on the BR-8? (if you answer YES to this try recording at higher levels. Or does it sound low once you burn to CD? If the problem is that your...

    Proof that the BR8 Rocks!

Benny, Thanks for listening. I use a Audio-Technica AT4033 studio mic. I run my vocal mic into my Board (Behringer EuroRack MX 1804X) , Then I go from the board into the BR-8. When my song is complete in the BR-8 I mix down into Cakewalk Homestudio 2002. the Right signal from the BR-8 gets...

Why don't I get CD loudness in my mixes?

There has already been some great responses on this topic. But I thought I would throw in my 2 cents anyway. I ran into the same problems when I first started transferring my BR-8 tunes to my CD burner. Before I bought Cakewalk Home Studio 2002, I had to CRANK the volume on my BR-8 to get a...

    BR8 wave converter

Doug. I am laughing my ass off about the idea of collaborating with people from different places. I actually came up with that idea a few months ago. But I forgot about it because I figured I would get laughed at by others. Glad to know that I am not the only one who has had that idea come into...

I have always wanted to ask this question. But I figured I could look for the answer myself. As luck would have it. I cant find the answer. So, here I am with my question. I currently have Cakewalk HS2002 on my system. It came with a program called Fruity Loops. I want to know how I import...

    Track Offset

I am trying to figure out how to do some track offsetting on my BR-8. I want to thicken up the vocals on one of my songs, and I just cant figure out the whole offset thing. What I am hoping to do is copy the vocal track to another blank track and then offset the copied track. Am I missing...

    BR8 wave converter

Hey Doug... I dont use that wave converter either.. I run out of my BR-8 (digital out) and into my Sound card on my computer.... Then I run it into Cakewalk. I get a great sound. and I have no interest in any wave converter. Because I can do everything with my software. Good Luck. Steven...
