Thanks, Bryan, so even if the rest of the room is properly treated with plenty of absorbtion, Maybe some rugs over part of the floor- do you think the marble would still create unwanted reflections? How is it different from wood? Wood is highly reflective too isnt it? We have a nasty carpet...

Any reason not to use marble tile in a studio? I found a deal on some and it would look really hip in my studio, I'm just wondering about the acoustic properties of a smooth reflective surface like that.

I had actually suggested that they look into sending it to a mastering studio and they asked if I could do it. I don't think they knew what mastering was until I mentioned it. I told them I could at least run some compression and maybe some eq on it. The mix already sounds good by the way...
