So, I took off my snares to tune the reso side of my snare. Now, after i put em back on and I turn the snares off, if I hit hard, the snares still rattle. I messed around with it for about an hour, trying loosening them and tightening them and whatnot, and I still cant get them to not rattle...
haha, our school has a set of rotos. Theyre fun to play around with, but I doubt I would actually use them in songs. Unless I happen to join a "awesome" hair metal band :cool:
ya, i used the mxl and the cad in a half-assed Recorderman set up. Tommorow Ill work more with setting em up better, and I need to add a snare mic I think, it just didnt seem to be cutting.
I used the cheap dynamic on the amp, it was alright. I want to try a condensor in front of it tommorow...
The bassists amp has a direct out, so I was planning on going from that into channel one or two on the firepod.
I really dont know how bad my room is. I dont really know how to tell. It is carpeted, rectangular, and has a bunch of weird slopes, so its not like a perfect rectangle.

well, back in the day when i was recording with a radio shack mic and Audacity, I used a program called Lame.dll I think, Ill try to find that tommorow and see if that works.
