How this for an annoying friggin' message?

This same message in Melodyne (from Germany) is actually pretty funny. "Melodyne need to be quit now."

    Reverb? Revisited...

Thanks! I played country for a long time (pedal steel for 27 years) and used to tour up in your neck of the woods. Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Grand Prairie and over in Vancouver. I love it up there!

    Reverb? Revisited...

Tim, I used your advice on the short decay time for this track. Actually, the whole thing was tracked individually but, I purposely left it marginally rough for a bit of "live" feel. Should I corral the mando a wee bit? Thanks to all!

    Reverb? Revisited...

Thanks Don! I'll back off the high end on the vox just a tad. Is the reverb a little more appropriate than the first track? <on edit> Doh! I missed your reverb comment on the first read-through.

    Reverb? Revisited...

Thanks to all who commented on my "Reverb?" post yesterday. I'm going to re-track the vocal per everyone's suggestions. Here is another tune from the same project. Same reverb question and I'm also interested if there is any apparent clipping on the vocals. Thanks for your help and for a great...

Thanks folks. Will re-work the reverb a little and the vox glitch and re-post. BTW, that's my band, Blue Valley with me on vox and mando.

I need some DIY Speaker help please

I've used these folks on several occasions to re-cone speakers for me. They've been doing this for many years. They're in Dallas but you can send your speakers in to them. Freeman-Tuell, 214-324-1132 I would get both woofers and tweeters re-coned at the same time. Don't know if your speakers...

    Underground Studio

I think I'd find out first if they will let you do this and also decide if this is what you really want to do, if they agree. It appears that you're ready to jump into a LOT of work with no guarantee that you will have unrestricted access to this space over a long period of time. Anything can...

    Door Construction

Enigma, The info on a double doors was intended for others reading the post. Sorry for the hijack... Your statement, "*It may be beneficial to construct the doors with a solid core. In which case I'm considering layering (sandwiching), 2 or 3 sheets of 3/4" Plywood. <snip>, and the possibilty...

    Door Construction

My 2¢ on doors... This past Saturday I bought 12 solid-core doors for my studio at a place in Fort Worth called Builder's Surplus. These are brand new, interior flush (1 3/8", solid particle board core, faced with birch veneer) doors 32"x84". Very heavy due to the mass. Un-drilled/routed for...

    Studio Foam

Mine sit almost flush against the drywall. But a tiny gap would be acoustically unoticeable. Remember, you'll be killing highs mostly, not bass frequencies.

    Studio Foam

Enigma, You might want to look at how I solved the dilema regarding gluing Auralex to your walls. Have a look at my site (below). I glued the foam to 2'x8' strips of pegboard first, then used two screws (with wall anchors) to hang them from. A couple of screws into the drywall (no anchors)...
