I just did a 4 song demo this weekend for a local group and noticed the CPU meter running about 10-15% with around 15 audio tracks. Occasionally I saw it jump up to around 50-60% and then right back down. Is this the issue others are reporting?

Absolutely! The Central Station does so many nice things, this included. I use the remote, mainly for the talkback.
