I would remove the 'distortion' part, or at least dial it down, the indie part sounds good though( the calm and clean). I think the distorted parts are kinda ruining the song :/.

I mean, I tried, but I really suck at producing and adding drums and those kind of things. I'm really liking Sufjan Stevens and indie folk in general, he makes good songs without drums.

Needs to be more natural, practice more and put more feeling into it, the problem with pop songs is there's not much feeling so you can't do much about it. Other than that seems good, not a great voice, but a good one, sure is enough for pop.

Yeah I know, it's just that the voice I like to do is very quiet for louder parts. Imagine a rock song, sure it's good for verse, but it's really quiet for the chorus part. That's why I'd like to diversificate my voice.

I started with online vids, now I just try to 'copy' my favourite singers, like Eddie Vedder, Scott Weiland and Layne Staley. I record and I hear my voice, just that ahah. I know how to make a kind of good sounding 'whispering' voice (inspired by Elliot Smith, big fan), but I'd like to do more!
